Breathwork: A Journey to Peaceful Creative Expression

Explore a transformational tool for managing intense emotions such as frustration and anger, transforming these feelings into a sense of calm and peace. If you feel these emotions or your mind rationalises judging thoughts to exclaim in disbelief that the world is unfair and unjust, then this practice is for you.

Nid adapted this powerful breathing technique from yoga. Shared not just a mere exercise but a gateway to connecting with the soul's purpose. From the Light Body teachings, I offer this practice grounded in the belief that each individual is a unique expression of consciousness, and through proper communication and expression, you can align yourself more closely with your true intentions. This alignment is particularly emphasized in the context of the Wood Dragon's influence (our Chinese animal and energy for 2024), which is associated with purpose-driven expression and communication.

One Step at a Time

Healing and the life journey often feel like more backward steps than forward, the learning of lessons can become tiresome and feel like a burden. It is important to acknowledge the non-linear nature of progress, know that each step taken, regardless of its direction, contributes to an overall upward trajectory towards healing and self-discovery. The step may be back, side or a slide, but it is still taking you higher!

The Present Moment

A key to the current step is to be present. You only need to know the step you are in and feel into the next one to take. This presence is a critical aspect of the healing process. By being present, we can navigate the complexities of our emotional landscape with greater awareness and intention.

The podcast delves into personal anecdotes and insights that further illustrate the power of intentionality in the healing journey. Always return to your 'Sankalpa,' or a personal resolve, to identify and commit to your healing goals with each step.

As always, I share my own experiences with overcoming challenges. The path to healing is a choice - to consciously connect to purpose and choose the meaning that uplifts you. Healing requires persistence and a willingness to adapt to change.

Why the Dragon’s Breath?

In the video, I share the practice for the Wood Dragon's breathing exercise. This practice, derived from the lion's breath in yoga, is adapted to resonate with the Wood Dragon's energy, using the power of breath to release pent-up fire and make room for peace. The host encourages listeners to visualize themselves as a dragon, expelling negative energy with each breath and fostering a sense of empowerment and release.

A Reminder of Your Responsibility

It is an individual effort that ripples out to the collective to change our world into one of peace and kindness. Through your personal transformations, you demonstrate to others and can contribute to a larger global shift. The ripples of individual healing can create waves of positive change, embodying the serenity and resilience symbolized by the Wood Dragon.

Enjoy the video as a treasure trove of wisdom for anyone seeking to navigate the emotional storms of life with grace and intention. It serves as a reminder that within each of us lies the potential for profound transformation, and with the guidance of ancient teachings and the power of breath, we can unlock the doors to a more harmonious and fulfilling existence.
