The Unhappiness Pet Meditation to Forgive

embody Mar 24, 2022

Forgiveness is a practice that we are encouraged to do regularly. It is so easy to judge in this world. Whether it is good or bad, right or wrong, kind or mean - these are all judgments. When we judge there is no acceptance and that brings us to the need to forgive.

When we have not forgiven it can lead to constriction in the body, and this can lead to dis-ease. We may not know that we need to forgive or what there is to forgive. The truth is, it is not necessary to know but to just simply practice forgiveness. This leads us to acceptance of the present imperfections as being perfect for what needs to unfold in life around us.

This meditation practice is designed to release physical or emotional pain through the visualisation practice of an 'unhappy pet'. Kindly embrace the shadows with the sweetness of an animal and the kindness shown to a pet.

We find that this practice is best supported with some time to journal afterwards, so take 30 minutes for the practice and journaling time.

If you find this recording supports you please share it with others. Thank you.
