To niche is so counter to our spiritual business awareness of consciousness and oneness, that many spiritual businesses avoid it. How can you use a niche to expand your spiritual business without losing the essence of what you offer? Below are three simple steps for a niche to support your business expansion and serve more people. 

 

 


 

Mechanism to Connect 

A niche is a tool to connect and communicate in a way that builds trust with your audience. 

Indigenous wisdom teaches us that the first step is to connect with another person through the use of familiar ground - who are your ancestors, where are you from and what do you want? We may use a story to build this connection. 

Your niche is similar to this welcoming statement. It helps someone know if they will relate to you, connect and communicate with you in a resonant way. 

 

 

Your Niche is a way to Move your Audience to Action

Your business needs clients, which means it needs people to purchase your services - this is action!

A part of your job is to move people to action, directly to your services being purchased. 

Your niche is the welcoming statement that provides connection and begins to create the trust that you are where they should take action. 

 

 

Break out into Several Niches to Connect in different ways

Adyashanti, the enlightenment teacher of non-specific tradition, shares that he says the same thing in a number of ways. If you follow his teachings you will agree with this statement - because enlightenment is really one thing only. The words that we have to describe or share are limited, but we find a few ways to say the same thing. This is because people hear things differently and so the variations help some connect where they did not before. 

A niche is NOT reducing your audience. It is ENSURING that they hear what you are saying that is RELEVANT to them. 

Break out your niches and test them to see which resonates with different people in your audience.
